POMWELL
Opening your day
Growing up between two cultures means carrying things that most wellness apps do not understand. Izzat. Sacrifice. Silence. The translation that never quite lands.
POMWELL was built by South Asian clinicians who live this experience. A private space to notice patterns, name what has been unnamed, and find support that actually fits your world.
Most wellness tools were not built for what you carry. We were.
Family honor shapes decisions you may not even realize you are making. Tracking the emotional cost helps you see what is yours and what was inherited.
One version at home, another at work, another with friends. The energy it takes to translate yourself across worlds compounds silently.
Your parents survived immigration, sacrifice, and loss. They carried it quietly. You inherited the weight but not the words for it.
Four words that have shaped more decisions than any therapist could trace. The community gaze is real, and its pressure deserves to be named.
Start with a reflection. No account needed. No judgment. Just awareness.
Living between cultures affects every dimension. Awareness across all three is how you find balance.
Track the mental weight of code-switching, family expectations, and the thoughts that cycle when you are alone with yourself.
Notice the physical signals -- the tension, the fatigue, the sleep disruption that comes from carrying more than one world at a time.
Reconnect with meaning, spirituality, and the deeper questions about identity, belonging, and purpose that live beneath the surface.
Some things you carry do not have an English word. POMWELL helps you notice patterns in how cultural pressures affect your mind, body, and daily life.
Obligation, guilt, sacrifice, performance. These show up in your energy, your sleep, your mood. See the connections over time.
Grounding exercises, reflection prompts, and support tools built by South Asian clinicians who understand the cultural context.
Use between sessions to stay aware. Share structured insights with your therapist. Bring cultural context into the room.
POMWELL was co-founded by a Punjabi American clinical counseling intern and an LCPC who specialize in the South Asian experience. Every tool, prompt, and reflection was designed with cultural context -- not adapted from generic Western frameworks.
We are not here to diagnose or fix. We are here to help you notice, name, and navigate what you carry. A mirror, not medicine.
Serving the South Asian community in the Fox Valley, Chicagoland, and beyond
We understand the cultural weight of being seen. Your wellness journey is yours alone.
The patterns POMWELL helps you see -- stress cycles, emotional suppression, identity tension, intergenerational weight -- these are human experiences. We started with the South Asian community because that is where our expertise lives. But the tools work for anyone navigating complexity.
